Thank you for taking the time to visit the First Lutheran Church of Carson’s web site. You are an answer to our prayers in the very real world, as we have been praying to have this chance to introduce ourselves, and encourage you with the truth of God’s love in the present day.

First Lutheran Church of Carson is a family of real people, striving to live out their faith on a daily basis. We are committed to the reality that without love, we are without our very reason for existence. So if you’re not presently attending another church please know that you will be loved here should you choose to visit. Guest parking is directly in front of the church, and greeters will be happy to show you the many opportunities that we have here for the whole family.

Sunday School for all ages @ 9:00 am  Along with the Worship Services  at 10:00 am . We offer our Bible Fellowship Classes  and they are geared for all ages. Ask us how you can get plugged in to our awesome praise and worship services.

I can’t invite you here without celebrating our Choirs and Orchestra as they have to be seen in person to appreciate. If you love music we have you covered here at First Lutheran Church of Carson, ECLA’s as we have truly been blessed with talent in all areas of the Music Department.

Our ministry programs are geared to serve all ages from newborn to senior adults. Small group Bible studies and missions as well as all types of fellowship are ready for both young adults and those who have enjoyed being alive a bit longer than the rest of us. Our Choirs and music teams are well known and have traveled throughout performing.

So what I am trying to say is this. We have a place reserved for you no matter what your age or Worship preference. We have a slogan here at First Lutheran Church of Carson, ECLA’s that is really lived out in the day to day ministry of our Church. Welcome Home! It is our prayer that your first visit will be a homecoming! And the beginning of friendships that will both encourage and uplift you with the truth of God’s love for you.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) I believe the culture of fear we exist in today has reached proportions to where it has debilitated our collective soundness of mind. It is particularly painful when we see its effects on those we know and care for. Paul reminds us that we have been given a spirit of POWER, not to subjugate, retaliate or manipulate, but to be emboldened by love, peace, understanding, forgiveness and care for others. God loves us and wants us to be free from fear. It has no place in the life of a Christian – neither in our hearts nor on our Facebook walls. Let us claim the Spirit of POWER that makes us spiritually fit and fortifies us to make a positive difference in this frightened and hurting world.
